Building Healthier Communities: Vaccine Drive in Chinatown

On Monday, November 25th, 2024 at the Chinese Community Center, the Boundless Health Club partnered with Jewel Osco to host a vaccine event, offering vital immunizations to members of the Chinatown community with flu shots. As flu season, this event was especially meaningful for the elderly, who expressed heartfelt gratitude for having access to these services right in their neighborhood. Our dedicated members went above and beyond, providing translations in Mandarin, Cantonese and Taishanese, assisting community members in navigating the process, and ensuring everyone felt cared for and supported. Volunteers also helped the elderly complete necessary medical forms, making the process smoother and more accessible for all. A huge thank-you to our incredible volunteers for their compassion and hard work, and to Jewel Osco Pharmacy for making this event possible.
